About the role - Our amazing Learning Enhancement department is seeking a Teacher/Case Manager (ST:IE) to join our inclusive community. We seek a Teacher-Case Manager (ST:IE) to support our students in their learning, and our teachers to meet the specific learning needs of students across the full range of abilities. This involves:

• a particular focus on student engagement and building the learning culture
• managing a case load of student with additional needs
• communicating with parents/carers around the reasonable adjustments for student learning
• building relationships with students to optimise the learning experience
• maintaining documentation and evidence required of the role
• teaching classes using effective pedagogy and managing classroom behaviour
• supporting quality student learning by working with and supporting teachers in their practice
• utilising thorough analysis of current student learning data to inform decisions
• developing appropriate partnerships within and outside of the school
  

About you - To be successful in this role you will bring relevant qualifications and contemporary experience in Inclusive Education, as well as:

• Strong literacy, numeracy and digital literacy practices plus a clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum
• Commitment to child safety
• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven organisational skills
• Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to achieve the best outcomes
• Demonstrated competence against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers across professional knowledge, practice and engagement.
  

At BCE our teachers are required to:

• Hold a current Queensland College of Teachers registration; and
• Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
