Development and implementation of Individualised Education Programs (IEPs) and Individual Transition Programs (ITPs) for students, as well as providing support and accommodations to help them succeed academically and socially is an integral part of this role. Experience in supporting students with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), physical disabilities and mental health conditions will be highly regarded, as will evidence based and trauma informed practices.The successful applicant should be student and relationship focused, highly motivated, innovative and able to work effectively in a team environment, as well as exhibit an engaging and energetic teaching style.
