Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2024 school year, up to the end of Term 1, 2025.We are looking for experienced Education Support Teachers committed to achieving the best educational outcomes for our students. You will work as part of a dedicated team and have the opportunity to make a lasting contribution to our school community.Suitable applicants should have the necessary skills and abilities to develop individual and small group learning programs for students with additional needs. They should be motivated, compassionate, flexible and highly organised. Highly developed classroom management skills are desirable to create the safe and caring environments required for optimal learning to take place, as is the use of collaborative planning to support targeted and sustainable behaviour interventions.Proficiency in the use of assessment to identify ability, interests, progress, and areas for development is highly regarded as is the ability to develop plans and programs aligned with identified individualised student outcomes. Ideal applicants should possess outstanding communication skills and display strong leadership within the classroom and wider community.Suitable applicants will ideally be genuine innovators who are prepared to be flexible and can meet diverse needs and learning styles in a mixed ability and multi-age classroom setting.
