Salary Range: $81,628 - $119,518 per annum pro rata

The school community is supportive and encouraging, creating an environment with a strong sense of belonging for students.About the roleSt Clare's Catholic School, Burdell is seeking an experienced Teacher Librarian for a full-time, fixed-term contract for the duration of Term 3, 2024.The Teacher-Librarian is a professional who holds both a teaching qualification and a qualification in librarianship, recognised by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) and the Australian School Library Association (ASLA). The Teacher-Librarian maintains the responsibility for the overall management of the school library and information service. The Teacher-Librarian is a focal point between the provision of information services and the school community and must perform the role in a professional, welcoming and helpful manner.To join this vibrant school community, you'll need

- Appropriate qualifications in Librarianship
- Appropriate Tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner
