We are seeking to establish a pool of Mathematics teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies that may arise during the 2024 school year.
At the School of Isolated and Distance Education (SIDE), we offer a range of lower secondary and senior secondary Mathematics courses. We are looking for teachers with strong knowledge of and proven success in teaching the mathematics curriculum at all year levels. Suitable applicants will have excellent interpersonal skills and will be skilled in the use of diagnostic and student performance data to inform teaching and learning programs.
SIDE is a cutting-edge online school that provides a high level of education to children who need additional flexibility. We play a critical role within the Western Australian education system, supporting system needs and priorities. As a teacher with SIDE, you will have the opportunity to reach out and make a difference to students throughout Western Australia, delivering high-quality online and blended education programs to suit the varying contexts and needs of our students.
We are looking to expand our workforce of dedicated teachers by trialling a new pilot program for 2024 that will allow some of our teachers flexible home-based working arrangements to deliver education online to students across the state. Therefore, teachers in regional areas are also encouraged to apply to this pool.
