About the role
TAFE Teachers are professional educators who help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The successful candidate for this role will deliver educational programs and facilitate learning, enabling students to achieve their best outcomes.

To be successful in this role you will have:
• A recognised* Bachelor degree (AQF 7) in education, with an LLND focus
OR
• A recognised* postgraduate qualification (AQF 8 or higher) in LLND
OR
• A Qualification at AQF5 (or above) + TAELLN skillset (TAESS00026 or predecessor)
Note: successful applicants with an AQF 5 must complete Adult Literacy and Numeracy Teaching (AL&NT) NNR within 18 months of engagement
* From an accredited Australian Higher Education Institution, or a qualification recognised as equivalent to the stated AQF level or higher by the Australian Government Country Education Profiles (CEPs) tool
- Minimum of one-year* post-qualification experience in teaching
**Please note this is below the requirements of the Teacher PD as industry experience is less important than teaching experience
- Hold a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or a diploma or higher level qualification in adult education
- Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
