Hillcrest Christian College, established in 1981, operates from Early Learning to VCE levels. Rivercrest Christian College is an authorised International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP) World School and Diploma Programme (DP) candidate school, with modern facilities at Clyde North. It is a growing College, adding a new year level each year; our first Year 11 classes commence in 2024.
Crest Education invites applications from suitably qualified and enthusiastic candidates for the full-time, fixed term position of Physical Education and Outdoor Learning Teacher, commencing in Term-2-2024.
This role is a unique position at our College which combines Outdoor Learning work (working across camps and activities in our on-site 10acre Environmental Reserve), whilst holding a teaching allocation in Secondary.
The successful candidate will have:
· the desire to teach in an environment where both Christian values and academic excellence are emphasised
· the ability to confidently teach Physical Education and Health to Secondary age students combined with Outdoor Learning
· the proven ability to drive a healthy life style whilst supporting a diversity of learners
· relevant qualifications with VIT registration and commitment to fixed term professional learning
· proven record of field-work experience and/or relevant tertiary qualifications in Outdoor studies
· preferred but not necessary is certificates such as WFA, HR License, any activity specific qualifications.
