Swan View Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool of Primary Teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2024 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2025. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2024 school year, up to the end of Term 2, 2025.Suitable applicants should have experience and knowledge of trauma informed practice and strong behaviour management skills. Suitable applicants will ideally be highly motivated, energetic, team-focussed, and student-centred people who promote, build, and maintain professional relationships. They should display excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. Our school has a very positive culture in the manner it supports staff and students. We utilise a team orientated approach to provide positive outcomes.The capacity to work as an active and effective member of a collaborative team by sharing experiences and resources is highly desirable. Responding to feedback and displaying an ongoing commitment to professional development, coaching, and being able to work collaboratively to promote student learning and wellbeing is a high priority. We have a high population of Aboriginal students, so experience with catering for Aboriginal contexts and English as an Additional Language or Dialect students is desirable.Suitable applicants should be passionate, motivated, and committed individuals with a passion for improving literacy and numeracy outcomes for every child, every day, through our whole school approaches and instructional strategies.Suitable applicants should be committed to developing positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and the wider community. Suitable applicants should possess a strong capacity to plan differentiated and engaging programs using an excellent understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum.
