Primary School Teacher
This is a temporary full-time position commencing 15 July 2024 and concluding 20 September 2024.
The successful applicant will be committed to maximising the engagement and progress of all students and teachers in a culture of excellence, innovation, and opportunity within the Catholic faith.
A Primary Teacher will be able to successfully engage and teach the older primary school students.
Selection Criteria
• A clear commitment to the objectives and ethos of Catholic education.
• Ability to teach Upper Primary school students.
• Be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Mercy Education Limited.
• Be an exemplary, enthusiastic educator who works well with their peers to plan for and implement teaching programs that improve student learning through effective teaching and differentiated learning.
• Excellent planning, thinking skills and pedagogies that engage students in a modern learning environment.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills that create a supportive and safe environment.
• Demonstrated skills in establishing effective collaborative working relationships with staff, students, and parents.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of the principles of Child Safety, Equal Employment Opportunity, Industrial Democracy and Occupational Health and Safety.
• Current Working with Children Card and TRBWA Registration.
