You may be eligible for HELP/HECS assistance if you are working in a very remote location –Teachers and school administrators employed at Meekatharra District High School in 2024 are eligible to receive an of $17,000 (pa, gross – to be adjusted pro rata for FTE and tenure). Eligible staff will receive a percentage of this payment on commencement at the school, with the remainder paid at the end of the school year. Staff must remain employed in the location until the end of the school year to be eligible to receive the second payment.The ARI payment is in addition to other incentives that may apply in this school.About the roleIt is highly desirable the successful applicant has the ability to teach to the highest standard and to design programs that engage students in teaching and learning and enable them to maximize their talents and potential. We expect staff to work both independently and collaboratively when using data to inform planning and contribute to vibrant co curricula and extra curriculum programs in the school. Previous experience in delivering Cert II Workplace Skills, Essential Maths, General English and Career and Enterprise will be viewed favourably.
