Pendle Hill Public School has a committed staff and strong programs to support inclusion of its diverse multicultural community. School priorities include student growth and attainment, and well-being initiatives to support participation and engagement. The school has an enrolment of 348 students and 89.1% of students from a background other than English. The school has an early intervention support class and two multi-categorical support classes. Additionally the school has a preschool which provides a quality early learning environment for students. The school has recently undergone major capital works and a majority of classroom spaces are open plan and support collaborative teaching and learning.
Approval to teach special education and/or experience teaching students with complex needs such as mild to moderate intellectual disabilities, autism and challenging behaviours.
