As a School Teacher, you'll play a vital role in advancing our mission by:
- Delivering outstanding educational services tailored to the unique needs of senior school students.
- Designing programs and strategies to address the educational needs of our students.
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to implement innovative and adaptive ways of learning.
Key Criteria
- Possession of a qualification in teaching from an approved tertiary institution.
- Full registration, or current provisional registration as a teacher in Queensland.
- Commitment to child safety.
- Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to achieve the best outcomes.
- Knowledge of best practice and procedures in relation to working with students with disability for whom language is their primary disorder.
- Knowledge and understanding of the comorbidities associated with Language Disorder, such as ADHD and ASD.
About Mancel College
Mancel College is a specialist Prep to Year 12 school for students with Language Disorder. Our students come from far and wide, with many of our families becoming part of the local community or commuting from the wider Brisbane area. The College is operated by Language Disorder Australia.
