• Greater Beveridage Kindergarten - 4yr old Wombat Group - Wed, Fri - 27 hours per week - 12 month maternity leave cover
• Murnong Kindergarten, Donnybrook - Team Teacher for Multi Age Group - Tue - 13.25 hours per week, permanent
• Start date 15 April 2024 or soon after
• Experienced sessional kindergarten teachers needed for complex groups and Education Leader duties - recently graduated teachers without extensive sessional kindergarten experience will not be considered

"The Greater Beveridge Kindergarten is located within the Greater Beveridge Community Centre. We share this site with the Mitchell Shire Library service as well as Maternal Child and Health Services. The kindergarten has established relationships with the local community and with local primary schools and offers children with a play and interest based program that caters to their individual needs."

"Sparkways has opened the new Murnong Kindergarten in Term 1 2024. Co-located with the Donnybrook Primary School at 145 Olivine Boulevard, Donnybrook, the kindergarten is opening as a 1-room kindergarten, and expanding to a 3-room kindergarten within the next few years."

Available positions

Greater Beveridge Kindergarten - Teacher & Education Leader - 4yr old Wombat Group

• 27 hours per week - 22.5 hours for teaching and planning, plus 4.5 hours per week for Education Leader duties
• Sessions with the children on Wednesdays & Fridays - Roster hours Wed & Thu - 8.15 am to 4.30
• Flexibility on when to schedule your planning and Education Leader hours
• 30 children in the group, with two Educators
• Education Leader role across the 3 room kinder with 6 groups
• 12 month parental leave cover position, with transfer options available to our other Sessional Kindergartens in the area, or expansion of groups at Greater Beveridge in 2025. Our maximum term staff are valued highly!
• VECTEA terms & conditions
• Opportunity to do additional hours on the relief team for our other kindergartens in the areas on your non-working days
• Start 15 April 2024, or soon after

Murnong Kindergarten, Donnybrook - Team Teacher & Education Leader - Multi-Age Group

• 13.25 hours per week - 11.25 hours for teaching and planning, plus 2 hours per week for Education Leader duties
• Sessions with the children on Tuesdays - Roster hours 8.15 am to 4.30
• Flexibility on when to schedule your planning and Education Leader hours
• 17 children in the group, with one Educator who works with both Team Teachers
• Education Leader role across the 1 room kinder with 2 groups

• Opportunity to do additional hours on the relief team for our other kindergartens in the areas on your non-working days

• Are you a qualified and experienced Early Childhood Teacher with full VIT registration?
• Do you have the skills to role model excellence in teaching - scaffolding and documenting children's learning in play based, child led pedagogy?
• Do you have practical expertise in including children with additional needs?
• Have you already had experience as Education Leader or are seeking the opportunity to develop your pedagogy and leadership expertise?
• Can you lead and contribute to a child-centred, friendly team?
• Experienced sessional kindergarten teachers needed for complex groups and Education Leader duties - recently graduated teachers without extensive sessional kindergarten experience will not be considered
• Do people describe you as positive and energetic?
