The Oppor­tu­ni­ty

We seek a Team Coor­di­na­tor who will work with the Parks & Gar­dens Team with­in Munic­i­pal Ser­vices and coor­di­nate with the CBD team to effec­tive­ly under­take a range of gen­er­al clean­ing and gar­den­ing maintenance.

Your respon­si­bil­i­ties will include co-ordi­nate and super­vise of a range of activ­i­ties under­tak­en by the CBD work team, work­ing safe­ly and ensur­ing com­pli­ance with Coun­cil poli­cies and pro­ce­dures, main­tain Civic Cen­tre sur­rounds, CBD parks and inter­nal gar­den areas dai­ly includ­ing clean­ing of brick paving, removal of lit­ter and main­te­nance of gar­den / lawn areas, all oth­er areas of the CBD includ­ing sweep­ing, scrub­bing, vac­u­um­ing and the removal of lit­ter and graf­fi­ti, iden­ti­fy and remove weeds, pests and dis­eases and erad­i­cate them uti­liz­ing man­u­al removal and / or pes­ti­cides and her­bi­cides as appropriate

• Attrac­tive salary of $72,448.52p/​a plus dis­trict allowance — $ 2611.00 w/​dependents, $1498.00 w/​o dependents
• 6 weeks annu­al leave with addi­tion­al gen­er­ous leave entitlements.
