Darwin Entertainment Centre is seeking a Business & Venue Administration Coordinator to provide accurate and systematic support across the organisation. The role will be dynamic within ticketing, compliance, governance, finance, and delivery.
This is a newly created role, and areas of specific responsibility will be tailored to the professional skills and development needs of the successful candidate.

Summary
Darwin Entertainment Centre is a Not-for-Profit Company Limited by Guarantee. Located in Darwin, it is known as the premier performing arts centre within the Northern Territory. Performances range from local school and small productions to international touring entertainment performances.
We also manage the George Brown Darwin Botanical Gardens Amphitheatre on behalf of the City of Darwin. This involves liaising with promoters, stakeholders and facilitating and safely delivering performances at the venue.
NTix is the external ticketing service of the business. Working with organisations primarily located within the Northern Territory we currently provide a turnkey solution, delivering all ticketing and financial services across many differing event types.
Key Accountabilities of the Role
System management including ticketing and venue scheduling
Support Venue programming including contract management and client engagement
Provide support to the Executive and Leadership team through both routine tasks and project delivery
Assist with weekly payroll and account management
Provide general office administrative support
Assist operational staff with pre-event delivery tasks
Governance support
Oversee compliance requirements
Administration and Compliance
Other duties relevant to this role as required.
Essential Criteria
Positive and proactive working style
Proven experience working in an administrative role
Organisation, attention to detail and developed time-management skills
Proficiency with Office 365 suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and ability to learn new systems.
Strong level of written and verbal communication skills.
Advantageous Criteria
Booking or finance system experience preferred but not essential
