The successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team.
You will be responsible for:
- Set clear fleet management strategies.
- Plan and set goals to effectively lead the Fleet Management team to achieve the production targets and performance objectives.
- Effectively engage with the mine department stakeholders to create a performance culture that delivers positive operational results.
- Ensure company safety initiatives (IVMS, OAS, Weatherzone and Geotechnical monitoring) are monitored and executed accordingly to procedures and privacy policies.
- Provide coaching and support with training requirements for the fleet management and operational teams.
- Development and implementation of vigorous fleet management procedures to ensure accurate live production data collection, validation and correction to ensure production data integrity.
This role would ideally suit an employee with a background in mining operations, possessing strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and experience in Fleet Management activities for optimal efficiency.
You will also have:
- Minimum 5+ years in a leadership position with FMS experience in mining.
- Tertiary qualification in relevant Engineering or Computer Science degree (preferred).
- Proficient in data manipulation and analytical abilities.
- Skilled in integrated management systems, word processing, and spreadsheet applications.
- Effective communication across all levels.
- Strong report writing and presentation skills, confident communicator with senior management and external stakeholders.
