Role - Telecommunication Team lead Rigger - Wireless
Location - QLDDefinition: An employee who undertakes external installation, commissioning, integration and or maintaining activities on telecommunication networks and infrastructure including working at heights via plant of climbing structures.Qualification
- Radio Frequency Awareness
- High Risk Work License to Perform Rigging and Dogging (Rigging-Basic Minimum)
- High Risk Work License to Perform EWP works (WP minimum)
- Working at Heights
- Tower Rescue
- First Aid and CPR
- Driver's License
- Winch VOC(Preferred)
- Tasks as directed.
- Carry out rigging techniques to install steelwork on structures, including the requirement to climb poles, towers, and masts.
- Work at heights on mobile phone base station structures and Rooftops to install antennas, feeders, and ancillary equipment.

- Place and secure cables
- Terminate cables.
- Operate tools.
- Assembling, erecting, positioning and labelling all items of equipment.
- Installation, repair, maintenance, troubleshoot all telecommunication equipment.
- Complete documentation as required.
- Interpret plans and diagrams in order to plan works.
- Directly install cable, cable ducting, Unistrut, conduit and other cable systems or support systems
- Cable Hauling activities.
- Install Microwave Radio technologies.
- Install RF technologies.
- Perform testing of Radio Frequency systems for Return Loss (RL), Distance to Fault (DTF), VSWR and Passive Intermodulation (PIM) as required
- Perform all troubleshooting tasks including liaising with the network operations team
- Cutover new and/or replace network equipment.
- Schedule installation activities
- Supervise contractors/ team members as required.
- Update/Upload appropriate systems with all HOP requirements.
- Carry out site inspections as required.
- Locate plant of other utilities prior to construction (potholing)
- Assist to carry out integration activities on site,
- Night time, Weekend and Regional Works (Away from Home) works as required.
