Job description

  • Part time (4 days per week) contract position until December 2024 based in East Maitland
  • $104k - $108k inclusive of Super + Salary Packaging

About the role  

As our Team Leader, you be responsible for leading a well-established, dedicated and passionate team of allied health professionals. Your main focus? To foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement, where team members are empowered to contribute their ideas and innovate. You will be a strong leader, mentoring your team to provide high-quality services in accordance with the NDIS scheme. 

Duties 

  • Provide clear and focused leadership to your multi-disciplinary team of OTs, Speech Pathologists, Behaviour Support Practitioners, Psychologists and Support Coordinators 
  • Support your staff with professional supervision and will be a hands on Team Leader, who prioritises their staff and is available and approachable  
  • Hold a small caseload of clients to ensure our clients in the local area receive the highest levels of service 
  • Sit as an integral part of our Regional Management Team, with full support of your Manager and a buddy from our peer network to help you settle in and thrive!

Skills and Experience  

  • Relevant Tertiary qualification and/or relevant experience
  • Track record of improving client outcomes in disability services and desire to provide high quality services to clients directly 
  • The ability to build and develop an engaged, high performing team 
  • Good management skills including troubleshooting, managing multiple deadlines and conflict resolution 
  • Pragmatic approach to problem solving, decision making and manage balancing priorities 
  • Working in a collaborative, cross functional way with teams, peers and stakeholders to achieve outcomes 
  • Current driver’s license
