About the Opportunity
The Team Leader is responsible for assisting the Manager in leading and managing staff within the Branch. The Team Leader’s primary focus will be on leadership, coaching, training, development and motivation required to ensure the Branch’s expectations are met. The Team Leader will assist with the more complex and difficult client matters, including the interpretation and application of legislation, and will need to build good working relations with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

The Licensing Branch provides an essential service to South Australian’s seeking to apply for, renew or obtain information on occupational, liquor or gaming licences. The Licencing Branch additionally administers the voluntary and involuntary barring of individuals as it relates to liquor and gaming. The branch also administers the registration and licencing of incorporated associations, charities and lotteries across the state.
The role advertised is for the Occupational Licensing team.

Special Conditions for Employment
Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested.
