Airport Retail Enterprises is continuing to grow at a rapid rate, with our venues, cafes and restaurants expanding in new locations across Melbourne Airport, as a result we are looking for amazing talent to join our team.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a fun, enthusiastic & driven Team Leader andTeam Members forour Mediterranean inspired venue Mezze Za Za. Located in Melbourne’s Terminal 4 domestic food court, Mezze Za Za specialises in char-grilled souvlaki meats using Mediterranean spices and blends to cover a variety of mouth-watering food across breakfast, lunch and dinner.
You will be responsible for overseeing Mezze Za Za during its busy BREAKFAST, LUNCH & AFTERNOONS by delivering exceptional customer service and leading the team by example. Our customers are experiencing Mezze Za Za in Melbourne for the first time, so you will need to be an organised & passionate leader, with a ‘customer obsessed’ focus that drives sales and builds a regular client base. You will work closely with the Venue Manager and chefs while supporting your team by leading on the floor, managing shifts and assisting the Venue Manager to achieve budgets and targets. You will be trained on all prorgams, policies and procedures.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- For Team Leader position proven experience in similar Team Leader/supervisor/shift supervisor/manager role
- Previous experience within a fast-paced food & beverage retailer is ideal – experience within a Fast Food/Mediterranean/Kebab/Souvlaki environment is highly regarded
- Experience providing a high level of customer service
- Ability to prepare light snacks & beverages
- Experience in cash handling and POS operation to process orders
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Able to delegate and motivate Team Members
- A high level of communication with the ability to give on-the-spot feedback
- Great multi-tasking skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
