The role is responsible for planning, organising, and delivering programmed and reactive maintenance services for Council buildings to a high-quality standard within the required timeframes and budget.

The role

We are seeking a Team Leader Building Maintenance to join an amazing and supportive Team. Reporting to the Manager City Works, your role is to:

• Play a critical role in overseeing a high-impact team that delivers maintenance across various assets
• Grow and develop the team, ensuring that the values and behaviours set are adhered to daily
• Prepare and administer Building Maintenance contracts, implement effective contract management practices, and lead the planning and delivery of the Building and Facilities Building Maintenance Renewal Program
• Lead, manage, and assist with the delivery of Council After Hours Services

About you

We are looking for someone who:

• Has formal qualifications in a relevant field including demonstrated significant experience in a similar buildings & facilities management/maintenance role
• Is a proven collaborator and is committed to continuous improvement
• Can lead a dynamic and high-impact team to deliver maintenance programs for all Council building assets and facilities
• Has strong communication skills and an ability to embed and maintain a positive culture that will inspire the team and the wider organization through collaboration, trust, and accountability

The salary for this position starts at $121,896.14 (Band 8) per annum plus superannuation.
