About the positionOur City Operations Portfolio located at Golden Grove, has undergone exciting changes to its structure and services, so we can continue to provide the best support to our Community. To support our commitment, an exciting opportunity exists to join our Field Services team.
Reporting to the Supervisor, Civil Operations, the Team LeaderCivil Maintenance is responsible for leading a team of 9 in developing, setting and monitoring outcomes to achieve work area programs and projects relating to Civil Assets, this includes unsealed footpaths, bitumen and street sweeper works.
Key responsibilities are:
- Deliver team objectives and maintain the appearance of Council’s Civil Assets according to Maintenance Service Levels (MSL).
- Lead the team of 9 in delivering the technical aspects of their role.
- Work with the corporate leader to develop, set and review work plans, including providing regular updates to the team and corporate leader.
- Ensure customer requests are responded to and managed in accordance with agreed service levels.
- Drive a continuous improvement culture.
- Contribute and monitor budget and resources to ensure delivery of programs and projects, including providing regular reports and/or updates to the corporate leader.

About you- Certificate III in Civil Construction or related discipline.
- Class HR Drivers Licence.
- Work Zone Traffic Management (WZTM).
- Work Safely in the Construction Industry (Whitecard).
- Be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical and police check.
