About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic leader who is passionate and experienced in engaging with community members aged 55 and above. The ideal candidate will drive change, possess leadership skills, and must be eager to head a team that is focused on improving community outcomes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor and supervise the team with developing evidence based responses to priority areas.
- Work collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders to lead the development and implementation of partnership projects.
- Proactively facilitate connections and new opportunities between stakeholders and the team.
- Engage stakeholders to understand how, and implement change to better support residents aged 55+ in the community.
- Lead the development of project plans with relevant stakeholders, sharing information, and updating plans.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in social science (Community Development, Social Policy, Human Services, or a relevant discipline) OR substantial experience in a similar role.
- Experienced in aged and disability/community services, be familiar with the diverse support needs of individuals facing barriers to healthy aging, including age, disability, health issues, and cultural or linguistic diversity.
- Strong experience in a leadership role and promoting a positive culture.
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence.
- Current National Criminal History Check.
- Working with Children Check.
- Full Australian working rights.
