About the opportunity
We are seeking a Team Leader Community Development to spearhead our efforts in fostering healthy, inclusive, and connected communities within Cardinia. As a pivotal figure, you will lead initiatives, build partnerships, and drive impactful change for our community's well-being.
You will make an impact by
- Developing and implementing effective Community Development programs.
- Working closely with community groups and organisations to support collaboration and innovation opportunities with community groups and organisations.
- Leading and mentoring a diverse team towards achieving collective goals.
- Establishing and nurturing partnerships with stakeholders and community groups.
- Ensuring accessibility of information and resources for all community members.
- Facilitating networking opportunities and collaboration among community organisations.
- Supporting the utilisation and management of Council assets by partner organisations.
What you will bring
- Leadership capability and demonstrated management experience.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets effectively.
- Knowledge of community services policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Experience in data analysis, report writing, and strategic decision-making.
- A proactive approach, resilience, and agility in navigating a changing work environment.
