Responsibilities:
Lead a dedicated team of recruiters, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture aligned with Scotford Fennessy's values.
Develop and execute strategic recruitment plans to attract, assess, and onboard top-tier candidates in the mining maintenance sector.
Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, candidates, and internal teams, embodying Scotford Fennessy's commitment to client satisfaction.
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to provide strategic insights and maintain Scotford Fennessy's market-leading position.
Utilise innovative sourcing strategies to identify and engage passive candidates in the mining maintenance field, aligning with Scotford Fennessy's commitment to excellence.
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring a positive candidate experience and timely delivery for Scotford Fennessy's esteemed clients.
Collaborate with clients to understand their specific recruitment needs and tailor solutions that reflect Scotford Fennessy's commitment to personalised service.
Operate as a liaison between Division Manager/General Manager team and the Team.
Serve as an escalation point for the recruitment consultants by being present and available.
Collaborate with team members to establish goals, objectives, and work plans, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
Monitor team performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Provide mentoring, coaching, and professional development opportunities to team members, contributing to Scotford Fennessy's reputation for cultivating industry-leading talent.
Foster a positive and inclusive team culture, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and open communication.
Attend relevant marketing and networking events within the market specialisation.
Develop business within the team and Division more broadly.
Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum 6 months of recruitment experience in recruiting and developing business within Engineering and Construction.
Experience in either strategic permanent or contract recruitment.
Leadership experience, with a track record of successfully managing and developing teams, is ideal but not mandatory
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels, embodying Scotford Fennessy's commitment to client and candidate satisfaction.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies, showcasing Scotford Fennessy's dedication to delivering innovative solutions.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines while upholding Scotford Fennessy's high standards.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on achieving results.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
Proficient in using relevant software and tools to manage and track team performance.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with team members and stakeholders.
