About the role
Based at our offices in Brisbane, this role will deliver continuous improvement and standardisation across the EAPNG Integrated Activity Planning and Long Range scheduling team. This will involve working closely with key stakeholders i.e. Reliability, Integrity, Maintenance, Operations and the functional division. This role will also be responsible for the provision of technical support to the EAPNG maintenance team for process standardization of integrated activating planning and long range forecasting.
Key accountabilities include:
- Driving safety critical compliance via early alignment and communications with stakeholders.
- Lead team to achieve optimal resource utilisation via loading to agreed values and geographical campaigns, and identify opportunities for activity production alignment
- Actively work with Planning and Scheduling leads and Execution leads to maintain and enhance business processes within the maintenance function
- Drive accountability for long range scheduling and IAP involvement in the delivery of Maintenance compliance metric KPI’s
- Ensure IAP processes and behaviours are being adhered to, and that IAP performance is delivered within set targets.
- Steward change process
- Ensure appropriate workforce planning, talent attraction and development, and resource deployment to ensure business delivery and employee development needs are met.
About you
Holding a Tertiary and/or relevant work/industry experience in a technical area, the ideal candidate will possess extensive gas process or production operations experience in plant or field, along with maintenance business process experience and a strong working knowledge of CMMS.
Ideally, you will also have experience in the use of P6 or PowerBI, or an alternative form of scheduling software. Your strong planning and organisational skills are essential along with proven technical and professional knowledge.
As the role will involve a high level of stakeholder engagement, it is important that you are self-motivated, can demonstrate initiative and adaptability, and that you possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Leading 8 direct reports, your proven leadership skills will be highly regarded.
This role has a wide remit, presenting an exciting and unique opportunity to gain exposure to 3 iconic Santos assets in Cooper, CSG and PNG assets, as well as functional teams. It is therefore a real opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the business and add real value.
