About Us
Dicky Bill is a leading national horticulture business with operations in both Queensland and Victoria. We are specialists in growing Fresh Cut Salads, Cos and Herbs for supermarket chains (both domestic & international), independent retail, local restaurants, and major metropolitan markets.
The Role
As a key player in our factory operations, you’ll be responsible for the efficient day-to-day operations of an individual work centre within a busy fresh produce manufacturing facility, managing a team of 4-8 people. Your skills and experience will be rewarded with an attractive salary, with mapped out career advancement opportunities and support from the management team. You will have the opportunity to learn the intricacies of up to 6 work centres.
Your role is pivotal in ensuring seamless operations, overseeing staff productivity and morale, maintaining effective communication with machine operators and process workers to uphold product flow, and completion of all required documentation in a timely manner.
Bring your strong work ethic, enthusiasm, organizational skills, and commitment to safety compliance. Qualifications include a Driver's License, Forklift License (or willingness to obtain), and a solid understanding of Food Safety compliance.

- Must demonstrate proven leadership skills and ability to engage with your team
- Quality conscious - making product right the first time
- Ability to deliver through-put performance, managing your work centre and team to achieve daily production targets
- Lean manufacturing techniques to continuously improve work environment
- Excellent standards and behaviour including reliability
- Attention to detail with sound numeracy & literacy skills
- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment 2.5 degrees
- Ability to work occasional Saturdays as per roster to fulfill our production demands
