About the position
Council's City Works Department is looking for a Team Leader Roads who will be responsible for the daily supervision of the Infrastructure Maintenance (Roads, Signage & Line marking) team to ensure the efficient and productive delivery of maintenance works and programs with the Council area.
The main responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the delivery of infrastructure maintenance programs for civil infrastructure including roads, bridges, footpaths, signage, line marking, drainage assets and minor infrastructure.
- Ensure that works and services performed are completed to program, budget and to the required technical, safety and environmental standards.
- Assist with the management of budgets and relevant budget reporting.
About you
- Knowledge and understanding of Road maintenance plan (RMP) principles and practices.
- Ability to work in a quality assurance and continuous improvement environment.
- Ability to work in an environment of rapid and constant change.
- High level of computer literacy and personal computer application experience, including a detailed understanding of the workings of an Asset Management Information System.
