Join the team
Team Leaders in our Distribution Centers at Kmart live and breathe the Kmart values and are responsible for operations for the day to day running of the site to ensure safety, service and financial performance targets are achieved. You will coach and supervise a team to achieve required KPI's.
This is a Full Time role of 40 hours per week working Monday to Friday with some Saturdays as required.
What you will have experience in:
- Demonstrated experience in managing large teams to deliver safety, financial and service Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Experience in building a high performing team and maximising team performance
- Proven interpersonal skills, ability to coach, counsel and discipline Team Members
- Strong values and behaviours leader
- Demonstrated leadership, relationship building, communication, influencing and teamwork skills
- Capacity to be an effective and positive change agent, continuous improvement of championing innovation experience.
- Proven to be effective with stakeholder management and ability to work collaboratively cross function
- Ability to identify opportunities to deliver strategic objectives
- Financial, Forecasting / modelling and analytical skills
- Health and Safety knowledge and experience
- Able to make and execute considered decisions in a fast-moving business environment
- Project management skills
- Excellent business acumen with a sound understanding of financial metrics within supply chain and retail in general
- Strong Emotional Intelligence capabilities
- Ability to relocate internally within the organisation would be highly regarded
- Strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems
- Competent in the handling and distribution of Dangerous Goods
- Knowledge and experience in Chain Of Responsibility (COR)
