The Role
As Team Leader Customer Experience & Libraries you will:
- Lead, engage, coach and support the development of your team to ensure objectives are met to provide a space that encourages the community to access.
- Inspire a team of Library and Customer Experience staff to provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic environment.
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance library programs and services.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work culture that promotes professional growth and empowers staff to achieve their full potential.
Our library branches are community hubs that provide Council services, programs, events and resources that foster connectedness and community spirit.
We offer a number of training opportunities to our employees, so in addition to working within a diverse environment you will have access to structured training programs and study assistance.
Your dedication and professionalism will drive you to produce the highest quality work possible, ensuring Council provides an innovative and sustainable library service that our community wants to be part of.
You'll need:
- A Diploma as a Library Technician, Business Diploma or other qualifications together with extensive experience in managing in a service environment.
- Experience in coaching and leading a team to meet Key Performance Indicators and performance targets.
- Demonstrated experience in change management, innovation, and process improvement.
