Based in South Australia, REDARC has 40 years’ experience in the research, design, development and manufacture of electronic voltage converters and associated products, inverters, power supplies, battery chargers, electric brake controllers and trailer braking products. REDARC’s products are rugged and made to last.
In 2015, REDARC acquired Hummingbird Electronics located in Newcastle, bringing their industrial and mining experience to REDARC. Hummingbird brought new capabilities to the business, becoming REDARC's specialised sensing, measuring, and monitoring brand.
In 2019, REDARC celebrated its 40-year anniversary and launched REDARC Defence & Space.
About the Person
REDARC is taking our connected product ecosystem to the next level by adding integrated mobile network connectivity,. The successful candidate will be a key resource in determining and implementing the REDARC Mobile App delivery in a Flutter based platform.
You will develop a deep understanding of REDARC products (Power supplies, batteries, brake controllers etc.) and how they work together to give the customer an integrated solution. Having an interest in automotive electronics, 4x4, Caravanning, or home automation will give you an insight into what is required to delight the customer.
You will work within the Mobile Apps Development team to set clear requirements for the developers, with a detailed understanding of the Corporate Strategy for Product and Digital domains. You will elicit needs from the Product Managers, and work with the Systems Engineering team to align needs across product systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Key proven successful on-time project delivery of Mobile Apps.
- Demonstrated Business Analyst experience, and in particular the elicitation of needs.
- Experience in mentoring or team leadership.
- A logical and clear communication style which brings clarity, confidence and certainty to the development team.
- Experience in working within quality standards such as ISO9001.
Qualifications
- Engineering Degree in a Computer Software design related field, or demonstrated equivalent experience.
