We are currently looking for an entry level role as a Technical Assistant that wants to build a lucrative career in the mining industry and secure a role with our western based operation – Airly Mine.

Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, your role will be responsible for
- Collection and management of strata data and monitoring
- Assisting with underground and surface related technical tasks
- Environmental inspections
- Surface inspections
- Review and collation of reports for monitoring inspections
- Assisting with stores yard area management
- Providing input and assistance with risk management

Suitable candidates will have
- Compliance with legislation, safety, and environmental standards
- A willingness to understand and learn the of technical, environmental and operational aspects of mining
- Ability to carry out work duties safely and ensure others do the same
- Good ability to organise and manage own workload
- Strong trouble shooting and fault-finding skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work as part of a collaborative team environment or individually
- Strong computer literacy
- Willingness to learn onsite programs and software
- Previous experience working in a similar type environment or role may be advantageous
