Our client an established, Australian provider of software applications for the healthcare industry. They work with the healthcare industry, its providers, communities and consumers to enhance connectivity through software systems that support their clinical, business and operational needs
What will you do?
They are looking for a talented Technical Business Analyst to work with their Melbourne based team, on a major transformation project that is currently underway, which sees the convergence of legacy systems into their strategic platform. He/She will be responsible for providing business analysis leadership for industry leading architectures and solutions consistent with standards.
Skill / Experience Requirements:
- Work and support in technical specifications for applications, API data mapping and interfaces.
- Work closely with the architect, development team and other business analysists to ensure that requirements are understood and implemented as envisaged thus to simplify information and deciphering technical or non-technical jargon so it is easily understood by the whole team.
- Facilitate workshops or discussions with customers to elicit and prepare business requirements
- Maintain current awareness of relevant health care industry trends, regulations, and customer feedback pertaining to the products.
- Facilitate input from and work with Sales, Marketing and Support in ongoing development and review of the product strategy.
- Liaise with business stakeholders and system experts to understand current and future business processes, system behaviours, data modules and user experience requirements of our legacy products
- Work with the Company’s Architecture, Development and Support groups to ensure current knowledge of product-related initiatives and issues
- Interact with executives and management team to learn the business objectives and propose creative solutions to meet those objectives.
- Evaluate and improve design methodology and propose alternatives and solutions to meet business needs and quality of products
- Mentor and coach other staff, such as software developers, systems engineers and database administrators
- Assist in responding to sales enquiries and tenders, and sales closure as requested by Sales.
Requirements:
- At least 8-10 years technical experience in which at least 5 years experience in Technical Business analysis, in the Health industry
- Experience working within an agile environment
- Ability to keep up with IT advancements
- Knowledge of data and systems security
- Ability to apply proven industry technologies to relevant solutions.
- Demonstrates strong communications and leadership skills
- Ability to advocate ideas and to objectively participate in design reviews.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Innovative mindset and a passion for technology
- Good organisational and self-management skills
