YOUR ROLE

As such, we are looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join us on this exciting journey and be a part of our Insurance Platforms, Claims Team.   

In this role you will be the conduit between business subject matter experts and agile development teams. You will actively support application activities and projects within IAG Technology Services Department where you’ll play a significant role in eliciting and documenting requirements, delivering solution analysis and delivery estimates, provide analytical direction and be the trusted advisor to all key stakeholders.   

You will review and contribute to technical designs, describing the solution to fulfil functional specifications to ensure traceability to business requirements.  

This is a full time, permanent role that is open for Sydney/ Melbourne location and involves a hybrid work model. 

ABOUT YOU  

We are currently in search of a Technical Business Analyst with exceptional communication, facilitation, and influencing, skills. The preferred candidate should have the following experience:    

• 2-3 + years of IT experience specialising in business process and systems analysis. 

• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. 

• Experience with Guidewire is preferred but not required. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies is essential. 

• Experience working on Agile SCRUM and Waterfall projects. 

• Experience using Atlassian tool suite (JIRA and Confluence). 

• SDLC experience 

• Great facilitation and relationship building skills.
