Leading Software Development firm requires a Technical Business Analyst for their Sydney head office.The role of Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for working with internal and external stakeholders to clarify, document and communicate the requirements for the solution delivery teams.
On a daily basis you will:
- This role will build and maintain effective partnerships with multiple stakeholders across the organisation, including but not limited to, Digital Product Owners, Product Strategy Manager, Business or Industry SME as well as service providers and industry associations.
- Ensure that documentation is easily accessible and understandable for both technical and non-technical team members.
- Create clear and concise user stories that capture functional and non-functional requirements with comprehensive acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with the development team to break down larger user stories into smaller, manageable tasks.
- Lead or participate in all agile ceremonies or SCRUM events to ensure a healthy backlog of user stories that meet Definition of Ready is maintained.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical implementations.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops to complete business discovery and requirement elicitation activities.
- Participate in all aspects of product or project delivery, including daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning and product showcases in alignment with ISC standard practices and guidelines.
- Capture existing (As-Is) and future (To-Be) states for processes and systems including the associated infrastructure, architecture, and data flow.
- A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant field.
- Prior experience as a Technical Business Analyst for a minimum of 5 years with solid experience in delivering large scale digital transformation or system implementation projects.
- Hands-on experience working in Agile environments, with a strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong documentation skills to create and maintain clear, concise, and accurate project documentation.
- Understanding of quality assurance processes and the ability to work closely with QA teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Experience with APIs, Microsoft SQL and SQL Stored Procedures.
- Worked on digital transformation projects, particularly those involving the migration from legacy systems to modern digital solutions.
