SalaryMy client an exciting Fintech firm is looking for a couple of Client Implementation Engineers to join them in Brisbane. The Client Engineering team at this Fintech works directly with their pre and post sales clients (who range from small start-up hedge funds to multi-national financial service providers) to understand their business problems and use cases.
They have expanded into Australia with a number of key client engagements. A key part of this role is supporting their clients in the region and ensuring they can get the maximum value from their use of these bespoke software products.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate who enjoys working closely with and building relationships with clients, working in the financial services domain, as well as building technology-based solutions.
Key responsibilities:
You will be responsible for all Architectural discussions with prospective clients. Initial discussions will capture the client’s current architecture, operating model and data model. You will work through different strategies with the client, to design a future state architecture which has Data Governance, Quality and Transparency at its core, maximising the benefits their SaaS products. The Tech BA/Solution Architect works with the client to phase deliveries to get early benefits, and de-risk the project delivery from big-bang go lives.c
Working alongside the rest of the Solution Architecture team, you will curate new demo material, coding against internal APIs primarily in Python and SQL. The team works closely with the Product team, ensuring that as new product features are delivered on the platform, they can demonstrate these to clients using business use-cases which both technical and non-technical client contacts can understand. In this role you will have the opportunity to make key contributions to the future of the product and shape how our clients interact with the SaaS products and their core products.
You will also work closely with our Horizon team, FINBOURNE’s partnership model with financial market data providers, service providers and other FinTechs, understanding how this partnership ecosystem can further aid our clients.
You will also be involved in any upsell opportunities with the client, identifying additional client businesses which would benefit from our products.
Key Skills
- Looking for someone who is happy being 50% hands on / 50% doing client facing work
- Strong Communications skills
- Python, Java or C# with some SQL scripting skills
- Experience loading data against API’s
- Previous experience working with Hedge funds, asset management or superannuation providers (will consider other Fin Services)
- Be the main technical person on point, looking after a specific portfolio of clients. Going on client site to oversee and be the SME for architecture/design. Working closely with the pre sales person.
- Confident in front of C-Suite level executives/MD level stakeholders (Banking or asset management clients)
- Able to understand Technical and architecture from a Business perspective - good understanding of Pain points clients face and how to articulate solutions
