This organisation is responsible for building, operating and maintaining one of Australia's largest electricity networks.
Your new role
The Senior Technical Communications Officer is responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair and integration of mobile radio, microwave radio, data, telephony and SCADA communication infrastructure systems.
The role also requires taking responsibility for leading project work relating to specialist installations and providing high level technical and analytical support for business units and customers.
What you'll need to succeed
- Diploma of Telecommunications Networks Engineering or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
- Class C Driving licence.
- Zone Sub Station entry authorisation.
- Qualified and authorised to work at heights.
- Sound experience in, and knowledge of, communication and telecommunication infrastructure requirements for a large geographically diverse environment covering multiple communication systems and networks.
- Sound skills in the installation, commissioning and maintenance of communication and telecommunication infrastructure.
- Full working rights in Australia
