About the role
The purpose of this role is to take lead and look after the delivery of our infrastructure and customer installation projects across NSW and ACT.
Based in our office in Blacktown, NSW you will be responsible for managing and overseeing ELGAS distribution systems in NSW and ACT regions while also ensuring compliance to our safety strategy as well as relevant Statutory and State legislations for LPG installations.
Further to this you will also be engaging with an extensive range of customers across the region, to design, and project manage LPG solutions on customer and ELGAS sites.
Key Accountabilities
- Design, install and commission designated projects for ELGAS Depots and Customers
- Handle the delivery of projects consistent with ELGAS’ national framework.
- Research, design, develop and implement Applications, Projects and ELGAS’ Safety Management System ensuring compliance with the relevant Statutory and State Legislation.
- Represent ELGAS at relevant regulatory meetings
- Routinely visit ELGAS deports and distribution sites to review status and assess ongoing initiatives
- Meet the agreed objectives as outlined in the annual Business Plan and Budget
- As part of an audit team, routinely audit ELGAS Depots, Distributors, Major Customer’s sites and road tanker and cylinder delivery trucks across the region/country.

What makes you great
- Engineering Degree in Mechanical or Chemical
- Proven experience in working on technical projects preferably in a similar industry
- Understanding of the Work Health and Safety Acts / Legislation / Regulations
- Project management skills and experience
- General understanding of Permit to work/Management of chance systems will be beneficial for this role
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to travel local and interstate over several days
