As a Technical Lead, you will lead and develop the technical function at the site to meet customer requirements for quality and delivery, including design and optimisation of manufacturing methods, providing direction and management of solutions to immediate and longer-term process, safety, and sustainability opportunities and issues.
You will lead the design and optimisation of the manufacturing methods and processes whilst improving production efficiency and minimising waste and rework.
You have good excellent analytical skills and will identify and respond to issues with product quality or manufacturing efficiency by collection, analysis, and use of relevant, accurate data to determine trends impacting production.
You are a great team player and ensure smooth collaboration and communication with other departments to ensure production methods are implemented as designed and performance data is gathered in a timely and accurate manner.
You align and plan by reviewing, auditing, and amending processes and procedures to ensure compliance with the QMS and product specifications. You ensure effective documentation and compliance to legal and regulatory requirements such as safety and the environment, employment relations etc.
Overall, You will be leading, reviewing, auditing, and amending processes and procedures to ensure compliance with the QMS and product specifications. You will network within and outside the company, ensuring the success of the business
This role is based in Wodonga.
Key Criteria:
- Tertiary qualifications in Metallurgy, Science, or Engineering
- Quality control experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering documents such as drawings, specifications, and CAD/CAM models
- A clear understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
