For decades they have been supplying the wireless equipment and technology to ensure zero downtime in alarm alerting PAGING SYSTEMS for these critical environments. The business in Australia is undergoing a growth phase which will involve new technology and advancements being brought to market. Position The role of Technical Manager is now available to be based in Melbourne. Ultimately the role is responsible for managing products, ensuring that all products and equipment supplied to customers on site is fit for purpose. This involves handling products, configuring, programming, testing and customising where need be. You will support customers as a product technical specialist and you will be the go-to person for all technical enquiries and product demonstrations. As the business embarks on introducing new technology, the role will advance to product management and you will play a major part in research and development of new products that the business could introduce to the market to compliment the already existing products. On offer is a generous salary of up to $120k salary super. This will increase as the role evolves. Candidate To be considered for the position all candidates must have a technical background from within a similar field of emergency messaging, PAGING SYSTEMS, IOT, emergency alert systems, nurse call care systems, or something similar. You must be an excellent communicator as you will regularly be liaising face to face and over the phone with a range of stakeholders being colleagues and customers. You will need to have experience managing technical integrations between critical communications and IT systems, along with experience of trouble shooting, testing and problem solving RF technology. Finally, you must be ambitious and have a clear desire to advance your career, particularly to take on a product management position and assist with the company's growth into new technology.
