Job Summary:
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager - Data Analytics who combines strong technical expertise in computational data analysis with project management skills. This role involves leading projects that utilize advanced micro-CT and SEM imaging integrated with AI algorithms, focusing on enhancing data analytics capacity and project delivery efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate projects focused on the enhancement of rock imaging and analysis capabilities.
- Analyze complex datasets using Python and R to develop insights and improvements for the VCORE and VLAB platforms.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure high-quality data processing and the accuracy of simulation outputs.
- Contribute to the scaling of analytical methods from micro-level data to macroscopic property logs.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients, showcasing project results and future opportunities.
- Support the continuous improvement of analytical methodologies by integrating the latest computational tools and strategies.
Qualifications:
- PhD-level expertise in a related field with a strong focus on large-scale data analytics and manipulation.
- Demonstrable experience in managing projects, preferably in a technological or scientific domain.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R, and familiarity with database management.
- Skilled in high-performance computing and able to effectively lead technical teams.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in an accessible manner.
