The Technical Manager is an integral member of our senior management team to help ensure the ongoing success of the business and development of staff.
The position includes the following key responsibilities:
- Manage technical claim referrals from Adjusters.
- Undertake file audits, large loss peer reviews and fee approvals.
- Assist with the onboarding, mentoring and coaching of new Adjusters.
- Undertake Adjuster refresher training and update training materials.
- Drive high quality service and standards from our Adjusters.
- Attend Insurer/Broker meetings and other marketing activities.
- Participate in senior management meetings.
- Be actively involved in process/system improvement initiatives.
- Interstate travel will be required.
- Manage own limited file load in accordance with company standards and KPIs.
Ideally, the successful Candidate will possess the following:
- Minimum 10 year’s claims/adjusting experience.
- A member of AICLA with Loss Adjusting qualifications.
- Specialist claims experience is highly desirable, i.e. Liability, Business Interruption and/or Machinery Breakdown with incentive scheme available
- Building Consultancy and/or Engineering qualifications would be an advantage.
- Some management experience would be desirable.
