About Your Role: Thales excels in repairs, maintenance, and In-Service Support (ISS) for commercial and Naval platforms across Australia.
Join our MU90 team, specialising in maintaining the MU90 Light Weight Torpedo at the Torpedo Maintenance Facility on HMAS Stirling. As a Technical Officer, you'll report to the MU90 ISS Engineering Manager, contributing to a dynamic team. The ideal candidate excels at building relationships and will work closely with leadership teams and front-line staff.
Key Responsibilities:Support MU90 Engineering/Maintenance Teams in delivering exceptional customer service through Engineering Services. Execute assigned configuration and documentation activities within the CoA Engineering Management System framework. Manage documentation per approved CoA procedures and policies for the MU90 Team.
Actively participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives led by the MU90 Project. Skills, Qualifications & Experience:Cert IV Level Accreditation in a Technical discipline. Proven analytical skills and attention to detail, collaborating within cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and Document Management Systems. Self-motivated with excellent communication skills, able to engage positively with internal and external stakeholders. Familiarity with the System Engineering process.
Must be Australian Citizen and obtain Negative Vetting Security ClearanceDesirable Experience: Diploma or Engineering degree qualification. Knowledge and experience in the Defence environment, applying Military documentation standards. Familiarity with Defence Protected Network (DPN) and associated tools (e.g., Objective).
