An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent full time Technical OfficerParks and Recreation to join our Engineering and Infrastructure Directorate.
Reporting to the Manager Parks and Recreation this position is responsible for assisting with coordination, integration and delivery of the construction, maintenance and operational programs relating to Parks and Recreation. The candidate should possess experience with MS Project, can monitor and update both Capital and Operational expenditure budgets, as well as the ability to initiate, monitor and update projects in conjunction with our Overseers within the Parks and Recreation department.
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum four (4) years of demonstrated experience in project management, contract management or similar role
- High level written and oral communication skills, ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders to develop working relationships and the ability to prepare a variety of documentation to support program objectives
- Experience in contract management and associated documentation, including knowledge of procurement procedures
- Experience with community leasing and lease management
- Construction Blue/White card and a ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence.
For this position we offer:
- Salary $89,940.83 - $95,987.25 per annum + allowances
- Nominally 72.5 hours per fortnight
- 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading
- Up to 13.5% super in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement
