We are seeking an experienced Technical Officer to join one of our clients for an immediate start for a 2 months assignment.
The Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform accurate and timely analyses
- Support the delivery of analytical services
- Maintain equipment for AQC laboratory and other AWQC units and external customers
- Ensure all records are kept up to date
- Prepare AQC standards and solutions within agreed time frames
- Ensure all calibrations are carried out to NATA ISO 17025 standards and requirements
- Compliance and adherence with Policies and Procedures, Workplace Health and Safety Procedures and Quality Assurance Processes
Experience Required
We are seeking applications from candidates who bring:
- Science Technician Certificate or equivalent
- Ability to consistently work to a high level of analytical accuracy
- Able to prioritise tasks and excellent time management to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated experience in laboratory information management systems, NATA and ISO quality management requirements, processes and procedures
- Excellent knowledge of WHS practices and requirements for a laboratory
