We are seeking a Degree or equivalently qualified manager to lead a team of technicians, servicing and maintaining test equipment used on the production floor. Pivotal to this role will be your ability to effectively manage and build succession planning in this established maintenance team. Working from the organisations Hills District office, it will require technical knowledge combined with planning, mentoring, budgeting and continuous improvement initiatives to allow for best-in-class service to the production floor.

Duties - may vary from time to time but can include
- Ensuring and promoting compliance with internal company quality systems
- Ensuring Test Equipment conforms to Company Documented Standards.
- R&D to help improve the efficiency of new and existing Test Equipment.
- Working with all operational teams in Australia to support Production, Engineering, Quality and Safety Initiatives.
- Managing machinery and parts suppliers utilising internal maintenance programs ensuring spare parts for critical items are available when needed.
- Developing and upskilling Team and Equipment Specialists
- Implement continuous improvement, lean manufacturing principles using problem solving and root cause analysis.?
- Assist in the identification, administration, and implementation of capital projects to improve process capability and workplace safety.
- Maintaining internal SLA's to ensure that equipment is ready and available for production.
What we need from you
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a management capacity
- Full Working rights in Australia
- Australian Certified qualifications, Engineering/ Trades/ Degree Qualifications
- Experience in Lean, CI or 5S
- Experience leading a diverse team of technicians and equipment specialists
- Commitment to safe work practices
