The position requires passion for selling products that help the environment reduce energy usage. The clients for these products also appreciate that reducing energy - reduces cost. This makes our products easier to sell even though they are premium, engineered products with a higher initial price-tag to most our competitors' offerings.
In order to emulate our international market penetration in Australia we are expanding our sales force. These new roles require people who can prospect for new clients, make strategic approaches to gain meetings and discover client needs. Then, working with our Technical Sales and engineering teams, develop solutions that help our clients in a truly sustainable way.
The Camfil range requires significant technical understanding. We don't expect to find someone with expert air filter knowledge but HVAC experience will be highly regarded. That said though, if you don't have that but do have the aforementioned passion, we will devote weeks of training using our inhouse knowledge, buddying with experienced staff, and our Camfil Online University to give you all you need to know to help our clients.
In addition to base salary and superannuation, you will receive a vehicle allowance, laptop, smartphone and a bonus structure that can double your remuneration.
Key position criteria:
- A minimum of 2 years external sales experience with technical products
- Proven work experience in technical external sales
- Client relationship management skills and openness to feedback
- Excellent presentation, analytical and numerical skills
- Successful experience working independently and remotely
- Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
- Prioritising, time management and organisational skills
- Relatable technical, sales or marketing qualification
- Australian residency.
Key position responsibilities:
- Promoting Air Filtration products to end users & mechanical contractors at different levels of decision making
- Developing new key accounts
- Increase sales for existing accounts
- Identification of new business opportunities
- Proactively manage and follow up all leads
- Continually look for ways to develop new business
- Maintain existing key accounts through professional key account management and relationship building
- Develop and maintain a high level of market presence and credibility.
