We are currently seeking a Technical Sales Representative to develop new business and provide an exceptional level of service and satisfaction to existing customers and new customers.

Your purpose
You are results driven and a strong team player, have an outgoing personality and an ability to build strong relationships and maintain a dedication to customer service, who will be relied upon to follow through on commitments. A positive attitude and commitment to the role are key ingredients to be successful in this role. This role will be based in Canberra or ACT area, looking after the Riverina to the coast from Ulladulla to Eden NSW.
Knowledge of the cabinet maker, window & door industry and hardware industry plus the DIY retail chains and associated networks would also be an advantage but is not essential, as extensive product training will be provided to the successful applicant.
The successful candidate will report to the National Business Manager and will be responsible for maintaining and growing their designated area.
Key accountabilities:
The key accountabilities of this rewarding role will include:
- Successful management and development of allocated territory,
- Call segments will include cabinet maker industry, window & door industry, wholesales, IHG, Natbuild, HBT and other hardware groups
- Meeting and exceeding sales objectives and KPI's,
- Building and maintaining relationships with customers,
- Timely and accurate reporting, and
- The ability to work autonomously, (will include some country and interstate travel) from your home base.
What you need to succeed
- A proven Track record within Sales with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Customer focused with an ability to work in a fast paced environment and build strong relationships
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge of the hardware industry and supply chains.
