Exciting Leadership Opportunity:
We are seeking a senior Registered Nurse with a passion for leadership to join us as a Night Duty Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a resource for high-quality, cost-effective patient care in a safe environment
- Utilise our Nursing Division's philosophy, objectives, policies, and programs to plan, implement and evaluate effective patient care delivery systems.
- Educate and guide staff on National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHSS).
- Maintain cooperative relationships with medical, nursing, administrative, allied health, and ancillary staff.
About You:
You bring extensive acute clinical nursing experience (minimum 4 years post-registration) within a private hospital setting along with proven leadership, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Your ability to think creatively and analytically is essential for managing complex scenarios and responding to patient's needs.
What We Are Looking For:
- In depth knowledge of nursing legislation and standards
- Experience in performance management and improvement programs
- Proven ability to plan and conduct patient and staff education
- Current knowledge of WHS Legislation and EO principles
- Current registration with AHPRA
- A passion for mentoring and educating future senior nurses.
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications and current Advanced Life Support Certification are highly regarded.
Hours: 36 hours per fortnight (4 Shifts), working Night Duty across a 14 - day roster. Hours are negotiable with the successful candidate.
