About the role
We are looking for a dynamic and driven Technical Sales Representative to join our team in Brisbane, Queensland. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about sales, has a proven track record of establishing networks within the Australian mining community, and is eager to learn and grow with us.
As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our cutting-edge technologies to new and existing clients within the region. You will work closely with our Regional Sales Manager - APAC to provide technical support, coaching, and training to clients, as well as assist in the development and field trials of our products within a small multi-disciplined design team.
The successful candidate will have a strong sales background and be comfortable networking and pursuing sales opportunities. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Exposure to the mineral exploration industry is a bonus.

What you will be doing
- Provide support to the Regional Sales Manager - APAC in both a field and office capacity;
- Engage with existing clients regularly and attain new clients within the region;
- Promote for rental and sale all AMT products contributing actively to revenues and growth;
- Technical support to provide technology leadership / coaching / training;
- Assist in the development and field trials of product within a small multi-disciplined design team;
- Provide technical support to production and customers;
- Logistics support and project inventory management as required.
- 3 - 5 years mining industry experience with drill-hole survey tooling;
- Technical understanding of downhole survey tools, methods and operation;
- Ability to deliver on sales;
- Excellent analytical skills;
- Sales and technical support experience;
- Ability to work closely with other team members;
- Ability to accurately communicate ideas and results in a technical forum both verbally and written.
